Train to Mayapur (Railways)

 

From Howrah Station:
If you’re traveling from Howrah, a less crowded option is the ‘Intercity Express,’ which departs around 3:15 p.m. and arrives at Nabadwip Dham at approximately 5:00 p.m.
Trains from Howrah to Nabadwip Dham are available almost every hour and a half, though these can be quite crowded. The journey typically takes about two hours and 30 minutes. Once you reach Nabadwip Dham station, take a rickshaw to ‘Mayapur Ghat.’ From there, board a boat to cross the Ganga and reach ‘Hular Ghat’ in Mayapur. You can then take a rickshaw to ISKCON Mayapur.

From Sealdah Station:
If you’re departing from Sealdah, a train station in Kolkata, a less crowded option is the ‘Bhagirathi Express,’ which departs around 6:20 p.m. and arrives at Krishnanagar at approximately 8:20 p.m. Trains from Sealdah to Krishnanagar are generally crowded, and the journey takes about two and a half hours.
From Krishnanagar, you can take a rickshaw to the bus terminal and catch a bus to ISKCON Mayapur ((45 minutes to 1 hour). Alternatively, you can take a three-wheeler to Mayapur Ghat in Swarup Ganj (where Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura once lived), then board a boat to cross the Jalangi River and reach ‘Hular Ghat’ in Mayapur. From there, take a rickshaw to ISKCON Mayapur.
